Downtown Troutdale hosts film crew and closes main drag on Tuesday, May 4, to accommodate them
Troutdale's main business street will be closed Tuesday as a film crew shoots a television show.
A section of the Historic Columbia River Highway in downtown Troutdale between Buxton Road and Southeast Kibling Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 4, Multnomah County announced Friday, April 30.
The closure starts at the corner where Bandit's Bar & Grill is located and ends roughly at the end of the business district at the east end.
Signs will direct drivers to the detour route on Southeast Second Street, one block south of the Historic Highway.
Crews are shooting a pilot for a new television series for TBS called “Kill the Orange-Faced Bear.” It’s billed as a comedy about a man seeking revenge after a bear eats his girlfriend.
Among those cast in the production are actors Damon Wayans Jr., Jessy Hodges, Alex Karpovsky, Nate Torrence, Sarah Silverman, Nicole Byer and Sam Richardson, according to Deadline.
